Description

Currently there's no support for the Atom API in Typo. Once it gets implemented we can get Lifeblog working with Typo - currently only Typepad gets the privilege to use Lifeblog for mobloging. Here's the documentation for Lifeblog's Posting Protocol Spec - http://europe.nokia.com/BaseProject/Sites/lifeblog_54603/CDA/Categories/NokiaLifeblogTrilobiteEN/Blog/_Content/_Static_Files/lifeblog_posting_protocol_specification_1.0.pdf

Thanks,

Jose Marinez

Wow, the Atom API is actually more complicated than I first thought. But I'm working on implementing it. That said, I can't guarantee this will get into 4.0 - it depends on how long it takes.

Hi Kevin,

It would be great if you get this feature in. If you need help testing it please let me know. I'm hoping to have a university wide deployment of Typo in the next few months and this feature would be fantastic to have since most of our users are really savvy mobile users.

Regards,

Jose

The Atom API is cool, and I'd like to support it, but it's not happening for 4.0.

For what its worth, having this functionality available would make for very elegant mobile publishing of messages and media contact direct from an S60 handset, of which there are many that can run LifeBlog.
