Description
Just upgraded from 1055 to 1193.
Unchecking "show article count" in the archives sidebar causes no articles to be shown on the front page.

This problem isn't occurring for me, the preference is simply ignored and the article count is always shown. Perhaps it's a template issue?

Nope. The error occurs even in the latest Scribbish.
